The challenge has been the long drives (4-6 hours a day), as India is so large to cover. The drive it self a little harrowing at times in the busy towns as we dodge and dart the bikes, people, animals, rickshaws and cars, but fun and all part of the adventure. But both Shivali are challenged by the inactivity, i.e. our body’s not moving. For all of those who know me, and in the teaching profession - sitting still in one place, is very something very foreign especially day after day.
So we met up with Rajesh (my younger brother), Vikki his wife and Harley and Anouk, there kids here at Tranvancore Heritage. So lovely to see them!
Sorting out our drivers for today to see one the most visited sights in India- Kanyakumari. This is where the three sea’s meet= Pasific, Indian and Arabian. Pretty amazing that the Pasific sea on the west of NZ comes all the way here!
