Munnar Day 2

What a magnificent day for us to see Kerala. What struck out to me today is how resourceful and Rich this amazing place is! There has been a lot of dialogue and comparisons between our Gujrath State which is where my family is from and Kerela.  This place is rich in spices, herbal Medicines, two dams to provide for power, solar powered airport, hospitality business developing and growing high in the mountains with adventure tourism events,  the tea plantations, food especially sea food and the ingenuity in building.
What I am learning fast is the care for nature also being paramount. I notice no plastic bags in India as we learnt from our plastics inquiry, (our boomerang bags) is alive and living here. Only cloth bags and weed made bags for everyday shopping, with shops logos and names printed on it. So, Hazel and Tracy thought you may be interested in the picture below.
Churches and temples are around every corner, from simple to magnificent buildings and structures to be shared with the community. Christmas is present in local shops and our hotels and some displays showing Santa wear through windows.
